PC Music Comes to an End, Concluding Their 10 Year Run After 2023
The comments are pouring in from Hyperpop fans around the world to share their farewells to PC Music, the UK-based label that brought the genre from the underground to the mainstream.
Label founder A. G. Cook shared the news on Instagram: following their 10th anniversary, the label will no longer be releasing new projects.
“Following that, the label will be dedicated to archival projects and special reissues. We have an undisclosed number of new albums and singles coming very soon.
For now, 10 x 10 minutes of content from the past, present & future. Personal Computer Music forever.” Cook shared.
To help keep our tears at bay (or maybe it will open the floodgates…everyone copes in their own way), A. G. Cook released a new 100-min soundcloud mix in celebration, a brief reprieve for fans alike to dance their way through the end of an era. The mix features EASYFUN, GRRL, umru, Kane West, BOPPLES, and other artist’s from the labels history.
