Big Thief Share Release Date for Fan-Favourite Track “Vampire Empire”

The wait is finally (almost) over - Big Thief will release their highly-anticipated unreleased track “Vampire Empire” on July 19.

The song had its television debut back in March on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and marks the bands return since the release of their beloved 2022 album Dragon New Warm Mountain I believe in You.

With Adrienne Lenker’s belting shrieks, child-like flute riffs, and swirling harmonies - it’s a song that has been a mainstay in Big Thief’s live set that every fan looks forward to experiencing. While we’ve enjoyed the unofficial fan uploads on Spotify that we’ve streamed over 1000 times, we are looking forward to supporting the track in its well-intentioned form.

The band are also currently on tour with a stop in Vancouver this August at the Orpheum Theatre. Check out ticket availability here.
