DJ Seinfeld and Confidence Man Team Up For Summer Anthem “Now U Do”

With every sweltering summer there’s an electronic dance track that stands out above the rest to heat up the dance floor. Here to take the crown is Swedish producer DJ Seinfeld and outlandish duo Confidence Man with their new collaborative single “Now U Do” out today via Ninja Tune.

Hyper-saturated and liquified in 90’s nostalgia, the single came together effortlessly after a joint hang-out session in Melbourne:

"I had hung out with Confidence Man a couple of times and always had an absolute blast, so last time I was in Melbourne we just went into the studio and it was really just more fun. I showed them a bunch of stuff that I was working on and they instantly reacted to the track that became 'Now U Do’”.

I don’t think it took more than a few hours before the track and vocals were ironed out. We were all bouncing around and enjoying it in their studio so I've just had this really giddy-up feeling about it ever since”, DJ Seinfeld shares.

DJ Seinfeld had become a friend through cocktail drinking and studio visits, and their eventual collaboration on upcoming single ‘Now U Do’ fell together in a matter of hours, with Seinfeld doing the running man in the studio to show approval. 

Reflecting on the collaboration, Confidence Man says "Conman x Seinfeld is an inner trip that takes you somewhere sexy and expensive, without even having to get the plane to Ibiza. And when we sell out we sell out hard and we sell out fast. Leave nothing unsold. Goddamn, if this ain’t a hit, I dunno what the hell is."
